This number left a message for a relative of mine on my phone - same thing - they did not even leave their phone number. Threatened to contact legal department. This is annoying and unnecessary.

This is Verizon FIOS in PA. They spoof phone numbers. They call from any number without their name saying your account is being disconnected. I do not owe any money. They call every day. Today it was 8:08 AM.

> You need to send these fraudsters documentation showing that you owed them that money, otherwise their scam will continue. <otherwise, you're a liar <otherwise you can't be held responsible, these are fake debt collectors who buy up old debt that they can't tell you anything about, and try to get more information out of you. <otherwise, it's NOT a scam, it's a legit debt, and they are trying to help you resolve it. <(lol) It's a scammer trying to get info from people to steal bank account info. <lol) they are all fake debt collectors. Report them all asap to your attorney general in your state and also call these numbers: 1 866 804 9111 and 1 866 305 4123. They threaten to have you served. And to make sure it's in writing in the state that you live in. You need a physical address to mail you a Cease and Assist letter in person so that your attorney can get a physical address for these people and sue them. Call these numbers and speak to someone there, they will tell you that you owe a debt that will be served on you at your job or residence or even home. And that you need to get a lawyer right away, because it would be against state law for them to serve you legal papers first! In addition, these people will try and get your boss to send them money through western union, gas station etc. If they can get you to send them money, you can send them money by sending them by western union or by sending moneygram to the name they give you with instructions to cash it. Report them immediately and don't give them any bank or credit card info! <elsewhere I forgot, these ppl take a bit to actually speak with you... they are looking for old accounts that they have... i called and said that i will be paying all these fees and that they are just stealing money to play with people! I told them that I did not have those funds... they said that they would just come and get me! And then called the police to put a stop order out for my arrest... <elsewhere I forgot, these ppl take a bit to actually speak with you... they are looking for old accounts that they have... i called and said that i will be paying all these fees and that they are just stealing money to play with people! I told them that I did not have those funds...
